As I watch the Mets begin their complete domination of Tim Wakefield, I wonder just how sucessful is the knuckle ball pitcher in games that actually matter. A-Rod is often criticized for his post-season play, but lets analyze Wakefield's worthless career stats in the post-season.
This Knuckle Ball scum bag has a stellar 5-7 record (including 0-4 in the ALDS [9.14 ERA], 0 wins in the World Series [12.27 ERA, 3.2 innings pitched, 5 Earned Runs]). ERA is just under a touchdown with the extra point at 6.75 in all post season appearances.
Basically this guy is a .500 pitcher, and is the definition of mediocrity. Keep sucking Tim, Go Mets!
