Yankees Spank Rangers

A-Rod and co. absolutely destroyed the Texas Rangers today 11-1. A-Rod had 5 hits and Phil Hughes pitched 8 scoreless innings.

I guess the f*cking idiots who were wondering if the Yankees were going to s*ck on the road because they rely to heavily on the home run ball at Yankee Stadium can shut the hell up. Is 11 runs on 19 hits, with no home runs good enough for you f*ckers??

Don't look now, the Yankees are 1 game behind the Red Sox in the AL East standings, and 1st place in the Wild Card standings. Normally I would be one to say that doesn't mean anything, but I read today that of teams who were in position to make the playoffs on Memorial Day, close to 70% end up playing October baseball. Thats a pretty damn good clip, but we all know the Yankees and Red Sox have more like a 100% chance of making the playoffs, and we also know the Yankees have a 110% chance of beating the Red Sox in the ALCS before they win the World Series.
