Ron Artest thought it would be a good idea to talk trash to one of the best NBA players ever, Kobe Bryant, during a 102-96 loss to the LA Lakers.
Sure, Artest hails from Queensbridge, NY, and usually that means when you F*ck with someone they are going to back down. Unfortunately for Artest he was in Houston, TX, where you automatically lose your OG status when you step on an NBA court with fans, commentators, and referees watching your every move.
Honestly, when was the last time an athlete talked trash and came out on top? Probably when "Broadway" Joe Namath guaranteed his Super Bowl III victory. Instead Kobe dropped 37 points on Artest who refused to shut his mouth even when the Lakers had locked up the victory. Just remember why Kobe wears #24, because when the shot clock starts him and the basketball are the only things that exist for the next 24 seconds. Sorry Ron Artest is sold separately.
