Wednesday Guarantees

Flapjack had another winning day at 2 for 3 yesterday. Would have been 3 for 3 is Chris Carpenter didn't leave the game after the third inning b/c of an injury. Either way, we improved to 23-12 overall, picking winners 66% of the time. We got 4 picks for you today, including a hockey selection since it's playoff time here in DC.
White Sox vs. Tigers
THE PICK: TIGERS -164
Jose Contreras is pitching for the White Sox today and that is all I really need to say about this game. The Tigers should win easily.
Cubs vs. Rockies
THE PICK: CUBS -220
Rich Harden is going for the Cubs and it looks like Derek Lees bat finally may be coming alive after going 2-3 Monday night.
Indians vs. Royals
THE PICK: ROYALS +110
Fat boy Ponson is going for the Royals today. I know I called him out the other day, but he actually hasn't been awful. His era is 6.00, but the Indians don't offer too much resistance with their lineup and the Tribe is throwing a rookie up there on the mound.
Rangers vs. Caps
THE PICK: CAPS -175
The Caps finished with a 3-1 record against the Rangers this season and as long as Jose Theodore doesn't completely suck, the Caps should win.
