You suck wang! (it is a pun for stupid yankee fans!)

The Yankees successfully got blown out again on Saturday, with Chien-Min Wang looking about as good as Wang Chung sounds.  Actually I think George Michael has had a better career so I might be short changing Wang Chung a bit.  You would think with the most expensive stadium and the highest payroll they could keep teams to less than 20 runs per game.  Way to go you bunch of bums.  I used to say the Yankees had the best team money could buy.  I now say they have the best softball team money could buy.  I heard there were plenty of open seats in the infamous and ridiculous lower reserved levels.  Maybe the Yankees could start buying stand ins for those seats sort of like the Academy Awards
Here are some highlights for the game:

  • The Indians scored 14 runs on 13 hits in the top of the second inning. Both set a record for Yankee opponents. Also, Cleveland's side lasted 37 minutes and brought 17 batters to the plate. Each member of the lineup scored at least once during the turn.
  • Led by Mark DeRosa (6) and Asdrubal Cabrera (5), five different Indians had a multi-RBI day. Four other batters drove one run in. Ben Francisco was the only Cleveland starter not to get in on the RBI game (he left six runners on base), but he did go 2-for-5 while scoring three runs
  • The fans started chanting "We want Swisher!" for the second time in the series as Claggett struck out DeRosa for the final out. Yankees outfielder Nick Swisher pitched a scoreless inning during a blowout loss at Tampa Bay on Monday. (By the way this is further evidence that Yankee fans are morons.)
  • Wang and Claggett combined to throw 69 pitches during the half-inning, which lasted 37 minutes
