Coach K Interested In Maryland Grad Assistant Job


DURHAM, NC - After 26 seasons at the helm of one of the top basketball programs in the country, Coach Mike Krzyzewski is looking for something new. Coach K is seeking the recent job opening advertised by the Maryland Terrapins for a Graduate Assistant position. Job responsibilities include: mixing Gary alcholic drinks upon demand, wiping sweat off Greivus Vasquez after suicide sprints, and collecting academic progress reports from professors.

"I want to learn from the best. I think you need to do that if you want to be the best", Krzyzewski said. "Gary [Williams] is the best, and thats why I want to go to Maryland."

The graduate position offers a monthly stipend of $200 dollars, 5 free meals a week at the campus dining hall, and free books for graduate classes.

Head Coach Gary Williams is expected to name one of the candidates to the position by happy hour today.
