After losing 4-2 last night to the Rangers and squandering almost every opportunity the Yankees were given to take the lead, they face Texas today in a 1:05pm day game (I'm sure attendance will be high at that one). The Yankees named Chien-Ming "Tiger" Wang today's starter and decided to send Phil Hughes to the bullpen.
Again, if Phil Hughes wasn't so "well off" I would feel bad for him because the Yankees assured him he had a starting role and was not pitching everyday for his spot in the rotation. But, I am poor, and its baseball, so I don't feel bad. However, "Tiger" Wang (found it on his bio on the Yankees web site), better have the f*cking sinker ball f*cking sinking today, or its going to be a long day in the BX. He has looked sharp in the couple of relief appearances he has had leading up to this point.
After yesterday's piss poor offensive performance, I expect us to score double digits today even if Wang is throwing all of his pitches right down broadway and giving up bombs.
