Wang = Trash

I'm slightly concerned about the Taiwan sinker baller who has been lights out for the past 3 seasons. The Yankees got beat down 15-5 tonight by the one hit wonder Tampa Bay Rays and I'm pretty much in shock. I'm not Ray Allen and not Josh Beckett, so I will take my beating like a man. 8 earned runs in 1 inning, obvioulsy the sinker ball is not sinking.

It is early and he is obviously capable of winning 19 games again, but there has to be some grave concern from our pitching coach, among others. I mean it didn't help he left with the bases loaded and Albaldejo gave up a grand slam, charging all three on base to the Taiwan sinker ball pitcher.

This has to be a huge concern though, I mean we are obviously going to win the AL East and go to the World Series but we are going to have to take "Wanger" down a few pegs in the rotation come playoff time. The other 3 losses I blame on myself, because I missed the games do to work/family BS, but this one falls on Wang. I can only give so much to the team earning 0.0 million dollars on a lifetime contract.

God speed "Wang-ER" through the season. Please go back to normal before I die.

  1. I like your overconfidence, but I am one of the biggest yankee fans you will ever meet and I am not so sure that the yankees are going to win the division.

    For the most part, our starting pitching has been atrocious. The lone bright spot has been our relief pitching. Well, up until last night, which can be tossed out due to the fact they had to cover over 8 innings of work.

    Something does have to be said about our back up 1st baseman, Nick Swisher, playing all game and then taking the mound towards the end of the game and pitching a shut out inning after not pitching since highschool. How can someone just walk up to the mound and pitch better than someone whose job is to pitch? It baffles me.

    I do believe the yanks will rebound. Their starting pitchers will start to find the strike zone and the fire will be put out in the bronx. However, will it even matter? The orioles seem to be taking a page from Tampa's 2008 season and The J's continue to win with strong bats. Not to mention the always tough sox and the cinderella Rays, which didn't look to cinderella after last night.
