Indians Get a Call, Yankees Drop a Game

When in hell did Carl Pavano decide to start pitching like a major league pitcher again?? A quality start from Carl, which added insult to injury for me in this game.

Anyway, Mark Teixeira has already proven that he is a "Yankee" in my mind. We would have won the damn game if it wasn't for a terrible call by the 1st base umpire ruling Jeter out, when he was clearly safe. Once again the young guns in the bullpen showed our glaring weakness. Not a lot of people noticed their inability to throw strikes because they were coming in when the score was 9-2. If you can't throw strikes when your blowing someone out, you sure as hell won't be able to in a close game.

Oh well, today is another day, and we can still take the series against the Tribe 3-1 with a win today. Lets hope Joba settles in early and gets a few more outs on contact, instead of striking every batter out on 20 pitches, so he can go further into the game.
